RETREATS
MARCH 26 -

Vocal Wilds Retreat in the Sacred Valley
& Machu Picchu, PERU
Join us for an intimate seven-day journey into voice, place, culture, and connection amid the breathtaking Andes of Peru’s Sacred Valley. Through singing, improvisation, movement, cultural exploration, adventure, rest, and ceremony, we’ll listen for the music that emerges when our voices, our stories, and this extraordinary place meet—culminating in a journey together to Machu Picchu.

WORKSHOPS
SEPTEMBER 13
2-6 PM
THE VITAL HIVE, LOWELL, MI
Join Kath Weider & Beth Patterson at this Sunday workshop for a gentle but generous foray into the art & play of circle singing, an ancient practice that was developed here in the U.S. by master vocalist and composer Bobby McFerrin, over a career of groundbreaking vocal exploration. If you are improv-curious or experienced with the form, this is a chance to take an afternoon deep dive into the vast capacities of the voice, not just as a vehicle for melody but for prayer, silence, invented language and new harmonic and rhythmic landscapes. Together we will make music never heard before. We are hosted by Nic Despres a beautiful song leader & practitioner on the sweet land in Lowell. The workshop will be followed by a communal hot tub, sauna & potluck if you are so inclined! No previous singing or improvisation experience is necessary—only a willingness to listen, experiment, and be surprised by your own voice.

Tatianah Thunberg and Irene Soléa Antonellis invite you to join their second of three workshops in the series Bringing It Home inspired by their participation in Rhiannon’s All the Way In 2026 year-long vocal improvisation program. The All the Way In cohort gathers for an immersive residential week long training in February, June and October with home practice between sessions. Tatianah and Irene are committed to serving as ambassadors—bringing these musical forms, insights, and embodied discoveries home to their vocal improvisation community in Michigan. TESTIMONIALS

JEREMY F.
What a remarkable experience of feeling, community, harmony, fun, ease, adventure, friendship, unity and possibility! Thank you for your generous, caring, capable and affirming guidance. Looking forward to diving in again.

JENNIFER F.
This community has made such a difference in my life. Through song, sharing, and love I have healed in so many ways over the years. The acceptance and love in safe space provides a personal growth opportunity that is not just me - but WE.

M.S.
What a joyful and embodied experience in song! I was able to be in a supportive, loving, allowing circle with others and share my voice through song. To experience this in such a nurturing and playful circle allowed me to tap into those quiet, shy, uncertain parts of me. There was very little room for the inner critic. What a relief!
